Yamuna Expressway Interchange of Eastern Peripheral Expressway

Although Eastern Peripheral Expressway has 9 Interchanges to travel to other National Highways and expressway but it doesn’t have any Interchange with Yamuna Expressway. This provides difficulty for commuters to travel to Agra and other parts of Greater Noida.

Due to land acquisition issue this Interchange was not made and commuters have to face issue with this. They have to travel congested area of Greater Noida to take entry at Yamuna Expressway.

In the last month the issue of land acquisition has been resolved and the work on the Yamuna Expressway Interchange will soon commence. Need for the Construction of Eastern Peripheral Expressway

Earlier a lot of non Delhi bound traffic has to pass from delhi because there was no bypass road for Delhi. This use to create a lot of traffic and pollution inside the National Capital Territory. So the government came up with the plan of constructing a ring road for Delhi. So two roads were planned one on Eastern side of Delhi and other on Western side.

So Eastern and Western Peripheral Expressway were constructed to decrease the traffic from delhi. Eastern Peripheral Expressway and Western Peripheral Expressway has played a huge role in decreasing pollution inside Delhi and also made easier for people to travel from one part of NCR to other.
